Published on 05-19-2020
We are excited to announce that we are headed to Lake Eufaula, Alabama in 2021. Dating to 1962, Lake Eufaula garnered an early reputation as the “Bass Fishing Capital of the World.” Officially dubbed Walter F. George Reservoir, the impoundment covers 45,181 acres along the Chattahoochee River and spans part of the Alabama-Georgia border. "Lake Eufaula is one of the premier big bass lakes in the country and we are thrilled to have it as a new addition to our 2021 schedule." said Scott Gordon, Tournament Director. "Our format is going to shine in early March and we expect a lot of big fish to cross the scales." added Gordon.
The multi-year partnership with the Eufaula Chamber of Commerce will include events through the spring of 2023. Founded in 2010, the Big Bass Tour is the nation's premier big bass tournament series. The 2021 season will feature over $1,600,000 in guaranteed prizes and payouts with events in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Our full 2021 schedule will be announced on June 15th, 2020.
